Get ZEC into a shielded wallet

To pay ZCode you need ZEC in a wallet that can send shielded payments.

   Install a shielded wallet

   Zashi is a good start. See the wallet compatibility page for what we've tested.

   Buy ZEC

   Buy ZEC on an exchange that lists it in your country.

   Withdraw to your wallet

   Withdraw to your wallet's receiving address. If the exchange can only send to a transparent address, use that; your wallet can shield it afterwards.

   Shield your funds

   In your wallet, move the balance into its shielded pool. After that you can pay ZCode invoices.
