Terms of service

The rules for using ZCode during the beta.

Not legal advice. This is a plain-language draft for the beta. A lawyer will review it before payment limits rise.

The service

ZCode answers questions using a hosted AI model. Answers can be wrong; check anything important before relying on it.

Credits

Credits are a prepaid balance for answers. They aren't money, can't be transferred between sessions except by your own recovery code, and have no value outside ZCode. During the beta, credits are bought with shielded ZEC, and only the Starter pack is available.

Your session

There's no account. Whoever holds your access key or recovery code can spend your credits and read your backup. We can't recover a lost code.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use ZCode to break the law or harm others.
  • Don't try to disrupt the service or other people's sessions.
  • Don't resell access without permission.

Changes

The service is in development and may change or stop. We'll post material changes in the changelog.
